Networks and Communities of Practice

Intercooperation has a large partner's network, which allows, besides collaboration partnership, to maintain and update its organisational knowledge in its three core competences. This network encompasses the following organisations:

As a learning organisation, Intercooperation is also an active member of a number of international professional networks, amongst which one can cite:

• SDRA - Skills development for rural areas (SDC)
• PTD Forum - participatory Technology Development

DEV Finance

In Bangladesh , Intercooperation is an active member of the following local networks:
• Self-Help group, initiated by DASCOH/ ICDDRB
• Market Development Forum (MDF), initiated by KATALYST/ GTZ etc
• LCG (Local Consultative Group) - Sub-Group on Poverty Issues
• Agricultural Technical Committees organised by the Ministry of Agriculture
• National Agroforestry Working Group of BARC ( Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council)


Intercooperation also develops itself Communities of Practice (CoPs), which allow Intercooperation professionals to exchange experience and learning throughout the world, through ITC. The current topics treated by these CoPs are: Livelihood for Equity (SDC mandate), Watersheds Management, Local Governance, Poverty Focus, Collaborative Forest Management.
